Itinerary:
DAY 1: FES – MIDELT – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA AND ERG CHEBBI DESERT:
Today we start our Morocco tour and we drive towards Middle Atlas mountains to visit the town of Ifrane. It is often called as Switzerland of Morocco. Then we drive towards the cedar forests in Azrou. We continue to Midelt famous for its mineral products and we will pass few Berber villages to reach Ziz Valley. We drive towards Erfoud and Rissani and Merzouga desert. From here we ride camels into the desert camp. We will enjoy dinner at campfire with Berber music. After we watch sunset in the desert we stay overnight in desert tents.
DAY 2: ERG CHEBBI DESERT – RISANI – TODGHA GORGES – DADES VALLEY
In the morning we continue private Morocco tour and we ride camels back to the village. After breakfast and shower in the hotel we head towards Todgha Gorges and we may hike along it’s valley. Then we drive through the Dades Valley and we pass the rock formations known as monkey toes. We stay overnight in local hotel.
DAY 3: DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKECH
Our private Morocco tour continues to Kalaat Mgouna. We pass the route of 1000 Kasbahs and we head to Skoura and Ouarzazate, often called as the Hollywood of Africa. We will visit here local movie studio and then kasbah Tourit. After that we drive to the Ait Benhaddou to visit its UNESCO kasbah. This kasbah has been used as a backdrop for famous movies as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia. We drive through the High Atlas mountains to reach Marrakech.
